QSH provides solutions to delivering homes without government subsidy.
QSH offers three core models to unlock capital and enable the delivery of high-quality social housing.
With our funding we:
- Build new homes for people who want affordable or market-rent properties;
- Build or acquire rent-to-buy properties for first time buyers;
- Refurbish empty properties; and
- Purchase existing social housing from social housing organisations to reduce borrowing levels and provide investment in regeneration.
We then use social housing organisations to manage QSH properties and this generates new income for them.
Once the homes are built, let and rental income has begun to mature, the property portfolio can be passed to institutional investors either direct or through a REIT.
