Paul Hardisty, CEO                         

QSH is founded and led by Paul Hardisty. He has over 20 years’ experience in the Social and Affordable Housing market. He was previously Service Director of Housing Transformation with Birmingham City Council and Director of Housing for Halton Borough Council.


Steve Partridge, Non-Executive Director

Steve is a national expert in housing finance with over 25 years’ experience in public and private sectors in business planning, investment appraisal, financing and the development of new homes. Since 2013, Steve has been QSH’s Finance and Investment Director and has led the raising of up to £30m of new types of private finance. He continues to provides consultancy support to QSH in various capacities, as Finance Director of the company and as a non-executive director on the board. Prior to QSH, Steve was the lead finance director for the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Nicola Clayton, Associate

Nicola joined QSH as Business Development Director in September 2013. Nicola has worked within Social Housing for over 20 years and has experience of front line housing management, housing and council tax benefits, project management, asset management, maintenance and management and strategy development and delivery.

Kevin Hancock, Associate

After providing advice to QSH on a consultancy basis, Kevin was recruited to join the business in August 2015 and is now responsible for all things construction-related. Kevin is a Chartered Architectural Technologist with 40 years’ experience working in both the private and public sectors for organisations including Newcastle-Under-Lyme Borough Council and Britannia Building Society.

Mo Harkin, Associate

Mo Harkin has worked in social housing since the age of 16 when she joined Liverpool city council, working on front line housing, and bring over 40 years’ experience in the sector.

As Director of Housing with Luton Borough Council, Mo piloted its first private investment deal through to successful completion; the Drill Hall site delivered 80 affordable apartments and represented QSH’s first scheme, funded by Cheyne Capital.

Mike Forrester, Associate

Mike, a graduate and CIPFA accountant, has over 20 years’ experience across both public and private sector Housing, having been Corporate Director of Housing at Leicester City Council for 13 years.

Mike previously worked as a Council accountant for over 20 years, being Chief Financial Officer at Leicester City Council and Executive Director of Finance and Business Improvement at Bournemouth Borough Council.

In 2004 Mike pioneered a unique arms-length housing project, acquiring 135 properties on the open market, supported by funding from Leicester City Council.
